Eglevsky Ballet in The Nutcraker

The annual holiday classic story of Clara and her magical journey through Land of Sweets returns. Experience the Magic of the Decorated Mansion, at Night

Now that the Vanderbilt Mansion and its halls are decked elegantly for the season, we invite you to see the Mansion at its most magical time by taking a special Twilight Tour. These popular annual tours will be given Wednesday and Thursday, December 27 and 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is a treat for visitors, and the only time of the year the Vanderbilt family’s private living quarters can be seen at night.

Holiday Festival at Coe Hall

Experience gorgeous Coe Hall decorated in holiday style and enjoy the holiday spirit! See Santa, children’s face painting, decorate a holiday cookie to take home, listen to the wonderful live music throughout the day by Jack Kohl (pianist), Alan & Hugo (flamenco guitarists) and the House of the Red Hart singers.

Christmas at Sagtikos, “Christmas is Coming”

Saturday, December 9 & Sunday, December 10th
This year’s theme is “Christmas is Coming”. Take a tour through the Manor as you visit rooms that depict how we prepared for the Christmas season through the ages. Experience the history and view our appropriately decorated rooms. Shop for seasonal themed items in our gift shop and purchase a seasonal green decoration hand made by “Friends of the Manor Garden”. Tour times begin at 10:30 am and the last tour is at 2:30 pm (no tours at 12:00 or 12:15 pm). Tours leave every 15 minutes.

 

Bayville Winter Wonderland

In November, Bayville Adventure Park turns into Bayville Winter Wonderland. A spectacular display of holiday lights and other festive family attractions celebrating the holiday season. NEW for 2017! Bayville Haunted Christmas… featuring Krampus, Scary Santa and more!

 

Boardwalk Lights, Long Beach

Boardwalk Lights is a free holiday nautical themed light show display on the boardwalk, Park Avenue, The West End, The East End and Canal Bridges. Families looking for a little extra holiday spirit during the holiday season are invited to stroll the area and then visit the great local restaurants and shops throughout the city.

Christmas at Hicks

Family traditions begin at Hicks Nurseries. Stroll through our free animated story featuring life-sized animatronic scenes. Admission is always free. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Long Island Cares. Meet Santa in person at Hicks Nurseries November 24th through December 23rd. Don’t forget to bring your camera! Santa’s hours are Monday-Friday 1pm-4pm & 5pm-8pm; Saturday & Sunday 10am-1pm & 2pm-6pm. Don’t forget to bring your own camera. Additionally, children can mail a letter to Santa in our special North Pole mailbox and get a response!

Our music on the weekends has become a family favorite. Enjoy the festive sounds of the brass band weekends during the holiday season. A warm cup of hot chocolate or cider while picking out your tree in a covered area will become a family tradition.

Santa Brunch at the Long Island Aquarium

Celebrate the season at our annual Santa Brunch! Enjoy a delicious buffet brunch in the waterfront Sea Star Ballroom and take along a camera to capture a family photo with Santa! The kids will make a special take-home holiday keepsake!

Don’t forget to leave time to enjoy the Aquarium, included with your brunch fee! Seatings at: 10am, 12pm, 2pm
